What materials do you work with?

The pieces vary in material based on design using recycled brass, acrylic, and plated gold, rose gold and silver. To give them lustre and longevity, I opt for micron plating instead of flash plating. All pieces are 1 micron plated to ensure they last. I also use an array of semi precious gemstones. You can find specifics for each piece on its product page. How can I care for my pieces?

While this jewelry is designed to be worn day in day out but like most things in life, it needs a little love. And while some tarnishing and scratches are normal, there are some easy ways to keep your pieces nice and pristine.

Try to avoid contact with water, lotion, perfume, etc. Quick tip: make sure that your jewelry is the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.

Ideally, keep your pieces in an airtight container or bag. If you leave your pieces out, they have a higher chance of oxidizing and losing that sparkle.

Every couple of months, you can gently clean your pieces with a microfiber or jewelry cleaning specialist cloth. Using products, polishes, or chemicals are not recommended.

COVID-19: With the frequent hand washing and sanitizing, make sure you take any rings off so you limit exposure from water, soap, and hand sanitizer to all jewelry.

What happens if my piece breaks?

All Nattie pieces are handcrafted with love and have a rigorous quality control check before they are sent to their new homes. If your piece is a little damaged upon delivery, you have 7 days to request for a replacement. If it breaks as time goes on, you can email me at info@madebynattie.com with your order number and a picture. While customer negligence isn’t covered, I would love to see what I can do if there is a defect.
